Clayton Gladish joined the pastoral staff at Hesston Mennonite in October 2013.
Clayton was born and raised in Penticton, BC, Canada. After coming to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior in the year following his high school graduation, Clayton attended Bethany College in Hepburn, SK, Canada. There he grew in his faith and in his love for Scripture under guidance of many fine mentors, scholars, and peers. After a three-year break from studies, he attended seminary at Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary in Fresno, CA, where he completed a Master of Arts in New Testament.
Prior to the call from Hesston Mennonite, he served as Children’s Ministry Assistant at West Portal MB Church in Saskatoon, SK. He also served in various student leadership roles while in college and at seminary.
Clayton’s vision for ministry involves a Christ-centered discipleship that breaks down the barriers of age, gender, background, and ethnicity—“we learn best when we can learn together!” He strives to make biblical studies and theological understandings accessible to all people throughout their lifespan.
Clayton enjoys conversations over coffee, board games, and almost anything involving people.
