Pastoral Team Leader of Worship and Outreach. Hesston (Kan.) Mennonite Church is looking for a full time, passionate follower of Christ who can confidently lead our worship and outreach ministries. The qualified candidate will have experience in blended worship formats. Responsibilities include: preaching and teaching, the guiding and development of short term and long term worship plans with the pastoral team, development and carrying out of plans to provide outreach ministry that meets the mission and vision of the church, participating as a part of the three-person pastoral team in other congregational leadership responsibilities and pastoral care. F.I.S.H – (Basement, Northwest Room)
A gathering of “younger” adults—single/ married/ dating couples/ young families—for fellowship. A time of Bible study and to support one another in Christ. We welcome any and all to join us as we grow in our relationships and friendships with each other and God.
Genesis – (Education Hall, Room Z)
We’re a small informal class who gather weekly to share our life experiences and theme discussions or book studies. We welcome new members, both young and older and embrace diversity.
New Beginnings – (Education Hall, Room Q)
The New Beginnings Sunday school class welcomes you to come and join us on Sunday mornings as we learn to know God better through studying the Bible and Christian books and supporting each other through sharing time and prayer. We are interested in a wide variety of topics. We enjoy meeting together outside of church also and try to get together for a social activity monthly. We also enjoy doing service projects together as a group and often include our children, ranging in age from birth through high school.
Nolongya – (Education Hall, Rooms F/G)
We welcome anyone to join us, and if you are in your 20s or 30s, married or single, with or without children, then you will find someone else like you in our group! We meet at 9:00 a.m. to have a time of sharing , a focused study and share prayer concerns. We have social events several times a month and invite others in this age to join us even if they don’t attend Sunday mornings.
Pathfinders – (Education Wing, Northwest Foyer)
Pathfinders is a class of older adults with an attendance of about 30. We use the Uniform Adult Bible Study series. Sessions include teacher input and class discussion. The class period opens with sharing concerns and happenings in our lives. Times of fellowship include social gatherings every other month. The women also meet every Wednesday for coffee at Water’s Edge. Offerings are given to the Good Samaritan Fund and Hesston Resource Center. Come find the path with us.
Seekers – (Education Hall, Rooms R/S)
Our class mission statement: We exist to experience and practice the Safety, Respect, Fellowship, Support and Stimulation of intentional sharing and mutual accountability as seekers of Truth in order to be a healthy, life-giving, interactive spiritual organism, The Body of Christ. We welcome all ages to join our class of a mix of middle-aged and retired members.
Vessels – (Education Wing, Rooms D/E)
We are seeking to discover more of what it means to live as “Vessels” of God in everyday life. We plan occasional social events for fun and fellowship. Our class is comprised of mixed ages and professions. We welcome anyone who wishes to join us.

A group of persons committed to serving at the Harvey County Homeless Shelter in various ways (meals, staffing…). Hesston Mennonite Church and Whitestone Mennonite Church share one week every quarter.
Motorcycle Circle – Gary Boese and Donnie Hostetler
Meetings randomly scheduled.
Persons who enjoy riding motorcycles gather to ride together to a restaurant for a meal or other enjoyment riding.
